Baby number 4.
I am so excited to be having another baby! I KNOW many people think we are CRAZY for having another child with Mark in school and life just being so CRAZY right now. It seems like when I do tell someone oh we are having another baby I get the look like are you crazy?? or people have said you are having another kid while you continue to go through so much with Weston?? and my answer is YES and I am SOOO EXCITED. For anyone that knows me knows I LOVE babies I mean I really LOVE babies. Growing up if there was a baby around I just wanted to sit and hold the baby. I have always wanted 4 kids close in age! We found out last week we are having another BOY! I was secretly wanting it to be a BOY. Growing up I was the baby and the only girl, I loved everything about it and I really wanted my Ms. Graycee to go thru her life the way that I did being the only girl! We took Graycee and my mom with us to the doc. apt last week to find out what we were having, having my mom there in case Graycee had Major meltdown if the doc. told us it was a boy because all along Graycee has been praying for a little sister and she would come up to my stomach and say good morning sister! I would tell her Honey that is so sweet but it may be a BOY! she would look at me like I was just crazy. So when the doc did in fact tell us it was a BOY, Graycee looked at my mom and started to do the SIGN for GIRL. Lets just say Graycee wasn't very happy. After we left the doc apt. we went to lunch and I told her all the GREAT things about being the only girl. So we are happy to announce we are having another BOY he is due in AUG.

Family Home Evening Skousen style...
Last night we held our weekly Family Home Evening, its a time where we set aside time to do SOMETHING as a family. In church our Bishop has asked us to try really hard to do this with each of our families. In my FAKE world I would love for it to run smoothly something like this, start with prayer, sing a song give a LESSON to the kids on something ANYTHING! go around ask them what there favorite thing was they did that day. End the night with a nice treat, read books, we say are night time prayers kids give us loves and they BOTH go off to ZZZ land.
well are night went something like this my parents came and had dinner with us, this is one reason I LOVE them living so close, I cleaned up dinner my mom gave them baths and then the fun starts. Ryker being a TRUE Boy is running around the house wont get his PJ's on finally I got some underwear on him. My parents leave I tell the kids to come sit down I have a story to tell them. Finally asking about 100 times they come sit down, Graycee and Ryker start fighting so I changed up the plans I said tonight for FHE we are going to do a talent show. Graycee starts it off with a nice dance session to Michael Jackson. Ryker gets up remember he is only in his underwear and does some of his dance moves. Weston starts to dance with him and Graycee goes into major melt down so we ended the night by breaking up there fight and them saying we were sorry for hitting and having them go straight to bed. Mark had to go in about 50 times and tell them stop doing this stop doing that and just GO TO BED!!! Mark and I end the night by having a nice bowl of ice cream and helping him study for his test coming up I know our life is CRAZY but its my life and I LOVE it! I love being home with my kids well most of the days...
I am EXCITED for what this year brings us.

my baby is two.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY COWBOY!
It is hard to believe that Weston is two. Where has the time gone? with many ups and downs I am grateful to be his mom and that I get to spend so much time with him. I am grateful that Mark works so hard so I can stay home with my babies and I get to be the one that is there with Weston during therapy, I wouldn't want it any other way.

his breathing problems have been "GOOD" for him we are only doing 2 treatments a night instead of 4 to 6
his eating well he is eating by mouth but just not ALOT. But hey I will take what I can get.
Wes still has his feeding tube in which he gets fed by night thru the tube.
Weston LOVES to play wiffle ball so we had a baseball theme birthday party and that kids was in heaven! Everything turned out just as I was hoping! Happy Birthday Cowboy I love you so much!

hanging up the fire hat.......
Gosh where do I even start? I can not believe that it is time for you to hang up the old fire hat. After 30 years of being on the Mesa Fire Department.
Dad you are a true example to me and my children, I am grateful they got the chance to live "LIFE" as a firefighter family does. Games in the bay, endless rides on the fire truck, spraying the water hose, turning the lights and sirens on. Graycee bringing her FRIENDS to the fire station for a TOUR of HER Papa's fire station.
DAD here are somethings that you have taught me:
be a hard worker, if you are going to do something do it the best you can and make sure you do it 110%.
DON'T GIVE UP.
Serve others.
be KIND to others
be yourself
LOVE ALWAYS
Be Honest
Family is EVERYTHING.
